Take it from my own experience. It takes time and patience. Just keep trying with honesty and awareness.

What a great legs sequence, and mood lifting as well 🙂

Hi Sarah, it sounds you have to build up to it a bit slower. Start just with the warm up, and if that goes without pain, add half of the sun salutation, if that goes well, do a little more every time. Don’t try to do too much too quick! Maybe something in the alignment is wrong, the best thing is to go to a life yoga class so a teacher can correct you there!

to add to Esther’s sound yogic advice it also wouldn’t hurt to see your chiropractor as there may be something going on here. and yeah, never try to force your muscles to do something they are telling you to stop doing.
    best of luck!!

@yogatic I’ve been attending yoga sessions at the gym once a week. Now that I have learned about your vids here, I can do yoga at home, EVERYDAY! Thanks a lot. 🙂

i’m in a lot of pain after doing this. you should have mentioned this was advanced and not beginner. i’ve never done yoga before, so i didn’t know. do you have beginner yoga for back and legs?
