    this is my 2nd day doing it, i’m not hearing any pops but i’m a bigger guy and really out of shape when i’m doing my bends it doesn’t even look like i’m bending but I can feel it i’m hope if I do this daily sooner or later ill see my self bend more. I’ve read that people that have joint and back pain start yoga and the pain goes away and they claim as long as you keep doing yoga they never have the pain anymore I hope this is true

    Yes often the pain does go away or get less when you do yoga.

    They don’t necessarily have to pop. The point is that you get a good stretch to relax both your mind and muscles. Try pushing yourself into a good stretch but not so much that your uncomfortable. Go as far as you comfortably can and after a few times you will probably feel a crack. I took me 3 sessions to crack.

    well….yea. that’s actually true cause your body uses most the the calories in most plant based foods, whereas junk food tends to basically form pocket of fat all over your body

    For the lifting the bum part I had to bend my knees and keep my shoulders on the ground. It was the only way it was going to happen.

    If you really want to quit smoking, picking up some of those electronic cigarettes are definitely the way to go. It’s basically water vapors and nicotine. I had a friend who tried quitting smoking and he says that they really work.

    I am a larger, too. It is helpful for me to bend my knees when lying on my back to take the pressure off my lower back. I also use a belt around my knee when pulling it towards my chest. Also, don’t worry about how far you can stretch; I noticed the demonstration girl disregarded his voice and bent her back and her head when stretching towards her foot. Yoga is very personal and sometimes you must make adjustments for yourself. I also agree that pain does go away, especially if muscular.
