Kino, I’ve always done both A and B with the bent knee as poised on the back of the humerus, balancing on and compressing the triceps on that side, rather than wrapping laterally on the outside of the arm and gripping. I’ll try it the way that you demonstrated and see what the difference is, but are either considered to be “correct method?”

Sometimes I think I’m crazy to be doing yoga and all these crazy poses, but damn do they feel good when you do it. My mom can’t stand seeing me do yoga, she’s always afraid I’m going to get seriously hurt, but I haven’t yet, just minor injuries. Anyways, great vid, you truly are an inspiration and a great teacher!

First I started following because she is so friggin hot, but now I’m following because I ACTUALLY want to learn how to do this. Bodybuilding for 2 years now and flexibility has been compromised.
the more I look at her the more I’m convinced that if I try to do this stuff I will break my arm.
You have to strengthen the wrists slowly while building connection into your core. Be patient and let it come naturally.
Both are ok as long as you’re able to straighten the arms and the extended leg.

Start off with the Sun Salutations, I have a good video for Beginners shot in New Zeland. Check it out and start there. Build up to things like headstands and more challenging postures slowly.

For these arm balance what for warming up is the best for no injury?
Sun Salutations will give you a base level of strength. Then try Bakasana, Tittibhasana, Navasana before.
So you may already be answering this but some of my main yoga goals are tripod headstand, handstand and also arm balancing. I feel they need some of the same attributes such as strength from the core and wrists is there any poses you suggest for beginning conditioning to accomplish these other than what you’ve already mentioned in this comment?
